I am going to start trying to upload a brief post weekly, sharing a trick, tip or technique I have learned.
Firstly, I’m going to share a method of applying concealer under the eyes that I found is really effective at brightening the face. This is a very popular technique that a lot of beauty media talks about, but I thought I should break it down.
Of course, this isn’t the only way you can apply concealer, but I find this method provides great coverage and really brightens the face.
Instead of applying it in a crescent shape, apply it in an upside-down triangle shape that follows the side of nose until just before the nostril, reaches up to meet the outermost point of the eye, then curves inwards to the inner corner. Next, fill in the triangle with lines of concealer, before blending it all away with a brush, finger or beauty blender.
It’s that simple. Give it a go if you haven’t already!
